Meet George Washington – the guy who said, “No thanks” to being king and basically invented the idea of “president” instead. Born in 1732, he led the American Revolution, fought the British like a total legend, and then helped create a whole new country.
He was known for honesty (remember the cherry tree story?), fancy hair that wasn’t actually a wig, and a serious love for horses. After two terms as the first U.S. President, he peaced out – setting the “don’t be greedy for power” rule for all who followed.
In short: soldier, leader, and the ultimate Founding Father – George Washington was the real OG of American independence.
